ARE YOU IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE PLACE? I want to share something with you that I heard recently...If you find yourself in a place that is uneasy and trying, this may help you like it has helped us. Too many times when we go through trials and tribulation we spend much of our time rebuking the devil and blaming him ("well that's just the devil", "Satan I rebuke you", "get thee behind me") instead of Praising God for being there and seeing us through. We sometimes give Satan credit undeserving. I heard a joke on that one time when Satan shouted up to God, "I like these Christians, they give me all the credit even when I'm not doing anything". So be careful, my friend..have you every asked God for a sign? a brick to be dropped on your head? HERE'S A WORD FOR YOU... In that time of distress or those frustrating situations there is a message from God. Too often we keep heading down a wrong path, blaming the devil and asking God how much more?, why God why? The truth is that sometimes when we are in a difficult, frustrating, miserable way...it is God who allows us to be "miserable" (so to speak) because He is trying to get our attention to go another direction. We want peace and joy but we all too often rob it from ourself by staying somewhere God does not want us to be. Yes, Satan is the author of confusion and you must be careful but you must also be in God's word and a relationship with Him to HEAR HIM! We must stand still. The way to tell the difference between the confusion and the truth is because GOD WILL GIVE YOU A SPECIAL GRACE TO HAVE PEACE AND JOY WHILE YOU ARE IN THOSE TRIALS AND THAT GRACE (THROUGH FAITH) WILL GET YOU THROUGH YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. BY THE GRACE OF GOD: Grace is God's Power coming to us (through Faith) freely enabling us, with ease, to do what we have to do no matter how difficult. So remember... When you find yourself in trials and tribulations always Praise God (Satan hates it), know that if you have peace and joy (a special Grace from God) during those times that God is there with you, seeing you through. If we are staying in those uncomfortable, frustrating places and have no peace or joy then we have probably stopped trusting in God or overlooked His direction for something else. Sometimes we move our faith from God and start trying to fix things ourselves which is done by our own works. Works of the flesh equals frustration. We must watch our attitudes, show a stable level of peace and joy. How we handle our own trials and tribulations is a testimony to others who see us going through them. Sometimes, how we handle things shows more than any song we sing or any testimony we bring in our ministry...in our lives. People should see and ask how we go through these things and still have happiness so it will open the door to witness and share our testimony. If we handle it like every one else, then there is nothing special to show others. We are then, just like everyone else...and we should be different. Our light should always shine for Jesus. I can tell you that it is not easy, but as you grow in the Lord and stay in His word..there is always a message for you to learn, to grow in and to use to set the example of Jesus. You must "go through" to "get through" and apart from God you can do NOTHING. As this has helped us through things, we pray it helps you.
