| About Garland.... Garland Jefferson is an ordained minister and gave his life to the Lord at the early age of nine. He is the oldest of four siblings who live as close as Petersburg VA and as far away as Conway SC. Garland's mother and father, now in Heaven, are still very close to his heart and he speaks of them often. He is a graduate of University of Richmond, has spent several years of his life serving as Youth Minister for area churches and was interim pastor for Falling Creek Baptist Church for a while. He is a man of many hats but loves to spend time witnessing to anyone who comes his way. God has blessed him with the ability and confidence to be a bold servant. Garland knows no stranger. Anyone he meets is an opportunity to witness and share his love of the Lord with them...and he does!!! Garland has lived with Chip and I for 11 years. He has helped us through our ministry as we have traveled and at home. We believe the Lord put us together to share in this ministry but also because the Lord knew we would need wise counsel along the way. His contribution to this ministry and to our lives is endless. This is a little bit about how Garland is involved in our lives...Chip and I have four children...Tasha, who is now 23, married to her husband Ryan who have two children of their own (Bryson 3 and Kylah 1);our son Dustin is our next oldest who is now 22 ; our daughter Alexis is 11 and our son Zane is 10 years old. Garland has literally grown up with our two younger children (Ha! Ha!-well, he's still a big kid at heart). Alexis, was born on October 20th and Garland came to us on October 26th. One year later, in December, came Zane. Garland has always loved children but had never been close enough to them to say he had experience with how to raise them. NOW HE DOES! Many of his messages have come from the "mouth of babes" and many times children bring back the simplicity of God's love. Garland is a mentor to us and to our children. He is family! He is our friend! AND he has quickly learned how to be a father and mother to us all. We sometimes call him our "built in Nanny". We're not sure he likes that title- Ha! Ha! Through it all, Garland is a true blessing to us. Garland's love of the Lord and his talent to share the word with others is tremendous. When you meet Garland, he will share with you a word of testimony, scripture and message to showhis love and dedication to the Lord and pray that it might open your eyes and heart to the love of Christ and the great work He has for your life. Jesus is coming and there are still many that need to be reached. Garland will offer a word of hope, of salvation and victory in the Lord! You can meet Garland at many of the concert dates we have...He loves to work our CD table and talk to everyone! Be sure to stop by and say hello to him. |
| My Husband Chip! Chip is my husband of 24 years. You will always hear me refer to him as my soul-mate...because HE IS! He is a wonderful husband, father, and friend. And, don't listen if he tells you he is not a people person...becasue HE IS! Chip's testimony is about his prayer to play guitar so he could be an even larger part of this ministry (he will always be a part of this ministry - guitar or not but we are glad for answered prayers-AMEN!). The Lord uses this talent now as a witnessing tool and now he shares his testimony with others to show the power of prayer and the power of our Lord and Savior! He will make you laugh till you split but also has a more serious side when it comes to sharing his love for the Lord and all He has done in our lives. He is my life, my all and he does a pretty good job keeping me going! Chip loves to tell of the many people we've met and experiences we have in our travels and through our music ministry. He will make you laugh and stir your heart as he tells of the goodness of our Lord and the many blessings that God brings through it all, how He works out the mishaps, brings the victory and shows that He is Truly in Charge Amen! Satan has no hold because Jesus has the Victory!!! He is our salvation! He is our strength! God is so Good! |
